I can so relate to your experience because I too have a similar story like this one. 17 of us 19 kids, and then our spouses too, and about 25 grand children pretty much took over the ICU waiting room for 6 days while we watched our father, step-father, grandpa, friend......... get closer and closer to Heaven. It was the hardest thing I think I've been through, but yet one of the most beautiful. We shed tears of sadness, tears of joy, tears of fear, and tears filled with the Holy Spirit as we prayed the rosary, the Divine Mercy and of course prayed over him with the priest many times. But we were also celebrating death as we gave back to God what He so generously gave to us. The hospital had never seen anything like it - a man so loved, and a family filled with so much faith. I believe we were a great witness to all those doctors and nurses as they were in awe at the experience they were sharing with us. The Holy Spirit was working through a beautiful dying man who himself was a faithful follower of Jesus Christ. We lost a great man, but through the grieving process at the hospital, we were also given a great gift from Jesus, as we knew he was present there. You see, our father had a great devotion to the rosary, and as he drew closer to death, his rosary turned from silver to gold, as did several of ours who shared this experience. God is so good!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-439331035718369167.post-36507916911482637522012-05-22T07:40:06.548-05:002012-05-22T07:40:06.548-05:00Beautiful Father.

They don't have enough money to pay for their expensive cars, for private schools, college and giant mortgages on houses with enough room for 5 times the people they have living there, they can't afford $1000's in day care because they have to pay for all their 'stuff'.

This man sounds like a true servant of God and it sounds like his kids did not feel deprived and they turned out okay.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11163879664929603251noreply@blogger.com
