It’s brilliant, really! Isn’t the Eucharist the “Bond of Unity” where we all become one in Christ? ‘Communion’ with Him and only because of Him with each other! If all Catholics really believed in the power of the Eucharist, Catholics alone would be able to transform this world! But God probably knew this wasn’t going to happen (like I know what God was thinking!) so He gives us more ways to bring Him into our lives: “Where 2 or 3 are gathered in My Name, there am I in the midst of them.” That is why I love our Church so much!! I must pray to have a relationship with Our Heavenly Father. But it’s only through loving others that I can even attempt to reach holiness, not for myself but because I can give a gift to God. I want the holiness of others as much as I want it for myself. I don’t think there is anything more beautiful on earth than “going to God” together, one for the other, to help one another to become this gift Only for Him.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-439331035718369167.post-32572767788320705112014-09-10T16:23:36.501-05:002014-09-10T16:23:36.501-05:00Amen! We are perfectly capable of loving God anywhere and communing with him anywhere - but we cannot obey His command to love our neighbor as ourselves unless we are involved in a community of believers.Brandy M Millerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18314110968832604067noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-439331035718369167.post-87159224042384234812014-09-09T08:22:31.850-05:002014-09-09T08:22:31.850-05:00Thank you for this explanation/clarification Fr.
